DURHAM, N.C. — Clean Brands, the franchisor for Lapels Cleaners, recently announced its newest location in North Carolina, Lapels Cleaners of Durham.
The company is owned and operated by Sukhjiwan Singh — also known as Jay — a U.S. Army veteran and experienced businessman who is now opening his second Lapels Cleaning location in the Research Triangle.
Singh is a seasoned entrepreneur, moving on to his fifth business venture. With a diverse background in entrepreneurship, he has owned and managed several businesses, including a salon, a convenience store, a motel, and a Lapels Cleaners in Cary. Now, Singh says he is excited to embark on his latest endeavor as the owner of a second Lapels Cleaners.
“I am thrilled to open my second Lapels location here in Durham," says Singh. "In Cary, I had the pleasure of building strong relationships with my customers and getting to know them like family. I am eager to bring that same level of personal service and community spirit to our new Durham location. Our customers in Durham can expect the same dedication and care that has been the foundation of our success."
Lapels services include but are not limited to dry cleaning, shirt laundry, alterations, wash & fold, bulk laundry, leather cleaning, wedding gown cleaning, wedding gown preservation, and comforter cleaning.
The new location opened on June 22, and is located at 8128 Renaissance Pkwy #112 in Durham.
